In their second meeting this season, Baldwin took down Uniondale, 60-58, at home Tuesday night behind 16 points from Dominique Aberdeen and some key plays in the closing seconds by Donte Howell and Ashanti DePass.

Howell hit one of two free throws with three seconds left in regulation to put Baldwin up two and DePass blocked a potential game-tying jumper by Shaquille Mosley as time expired. Mosley finished with 23 points.

The win is Baldwin's ninth straight and the Bruins are 11-2 overall and 6-2 in Nassau Conference AA-I. Baldwin's last loss was Dec. 18 at Uniondale, a 67-64 defeat. Uniondale is 10-3, 7-1.

So that's two close games decided by five total points. Should be interesting if they meet again in the Class AA county final.
