As the final seconds ticked off the clock, a group of students decked out in Baptist red crowded together in the stands at St. John the Baptist High School and held up a sign with one word written across it:  "Undefeated."

With a 77-63 win over Holy Trinity on Friday, St. John the Baptist completed it's first ever undefeated league season in the school's history.

Joe Gibbons had 27 points, eight rebounds and five asists and Khaleev Ginyard added 23 points, five assists, and five steals as St. John the Baptist improved to 12-0 in CHSAA. 

By earning the top seed in the CHSAA, the Cougars will get a bye in the first round of the playoffs and take on the winner of the No.4/No. 5 seed matchup in the semi-finals at C.W. Post on Fenruary 28.
