Snow postponed a slew of games last week and there were no significant upsets, so our Top 10 remains unchanged, though I’ve moved a couple of new teams onto the bubble.

Some very intriguing matchups this week, highlighted by the West Babylon at Half Hollow Hills West rematch on Thursday that could determine the League IV regular-season title. The Eagles, led by Matt Sullivan (No. 1 at left) were terrific in handing the Colts their only league loss of the season, but might have trouble duplicating that effort without three-point sharpshooter Matt McArdle, out with a broken jaw until the playoffs.

Another big game, also on Thursday, matches East Islip and Copiague for the top spot in League III.

Weather permitting, I’m looking forward to seeing Greenport and its triple-double star Dantre Langhorne host Southold and its long-range gunner Winston Wilcenski on Tuesday. The Porters are the only undefeated team remaining in Suffolk County.
