Long Island Lutheran earned its 20th win of the season by beating two-time defending Class B Federation champion Collegiate (Manhattan), 89-60, in the final of the Collegiate Invitational Tournament on Monday night.

Hart Gliedman scored 20 points, Achraf Yacoubou had 19 and Terry Brutus added 17 for the Crusaders (20-7) in the final.

Lutheran, a Class A school, beat Brooklyn College Academy, 86-46, in the semifinals of the tournament and defeated Manhattan Village Academy, 86-36, in the first round.

The Crusaders are also the only NYSAIS Class A school and as such, qualify for the Federation tournament in Glens Falls from March 26-28. They will play the state CHSAA champ in the Federation semifinals on Friday, March 26 at 8:30 p.m. at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

It will be 25 days between the Crusaders' last game and their next one.
