Leading by two points with :45 left in overtime, Joey Alagna hit a layup to extend the lead to 53-49 and Port Washington (4-2) would make its free throws on its way to victory in Conference AA-II. Plainview JFK (2-4) was down 46-43 with :38 left in regulation when Chris Tracz drilled a three-pointer to tie the game and force overtime. Alagna finished with 18 points and Ryan Kriftcher had a game-high 24 points and added nine rebounds to lead the way. (Jan. 15, 2013)
