Tobias Harris of Half Hollow Hills West scored more than 30 points in three of the five games the Colts played since we last updated his countdown to become the 11th Long Island boys player to score 2,000 points in his career. Harris scored 35 against Sacred Heart (Conn.), 32 against Smithtown West and 36 on Saturday against Chester (Pa.) in the Prime Time Shootout at West Virginia.

Harris is averaging 25.2 in the Colts’ 10 games, all victories. He should continue at least at that pace with seven straight League IV games coming up. The Colts’ regular season concludes on Feb. 14 with a tough game against Christ the King of Queens in the Prime Time Shootout at Trenton, N.J. At that point we’ll have a better idea of what kind of playoff run Hills West needs to make to reach 2,000.

Here is the game-by-game scoring breakdown for Harris so far:

At Eastport-South Manor: 21
At Copiague: 28
Vs. Deer Park: 10
At Riverhead: 19
Vs. West Babylon: 28
Vs. Sacred Heart (Conn.): 35
Vs. Bishop Loughlin (NYC): 19
Vs. Smithtown West: 32
Vs. Eastport-SM: 24
Vs. Chester (Pa.): 36
