“He has unbelievable lacrosse sense,” coach Scott Craig said. “He feels the game.” Galasso, part of four state champions in five-year varsity career, broke the Long Island career scoring record in the state title game with one goal and six assists to finish his career with 500 points. Scored 136 points as a senior (66 goals) and had 137 as a junior. Two-time Newsday Player of the Year and two-time All-American. Will play at North Carolina.

Attack, Senior
Mangan led Nassau in points (103), goals (63) and was second in assists (40). He led the Warriors to a 16-3 record, the No. 1 seed in the Class B playoffs and a county finals appearance. A unanimous All-American selection by a panel of county coaches. Will play at Yale.

Led the Indians (20-0) with 61 points and 43 goals as they won a second straight state Class C championship. Had 20 points in five playoff games and scored the final three goals in a 7-5 win over Cold Spring Harbor in the county final. An All-American pick. Will play at Penn.

ROB DUVNJAK Manhasset Defense, Sophomore The 6-foot, 200-pounder

Defense, Sophomore
The 6-foot, 200-pounder took on some of the Island’s top offensive threats and usually shut them down. Part of an Indians’ defense that allowed 4.4 goals per game during its state championship run. Scored two goals and an assist, and was a ground ball machine with 65. An All-American pick.

MICHAEL EHRHARDT Chamindade Defense, Senior Paired with John

Paired with John Urbank to form one of the past defensive tandems on Long Island. Led Flyers to the Class AAA CHSAA title game, where they lost a heartbreaker to St. Anthony’s, 9-8. Active defender had 70 groundballs and two assists. Named an Under Armour All-American. Will play at Maryland.

Speedy, aggressive player who scored 95 points (51 goals, 44 assists) and won 55 percent of his faceoffs. Produced a four-goal, four-assist performance in state semifinal victory over Lakeland/Panas. One of main cogs on in team that won back-to-back state Class title. Selected as a 2010 All-American. Will play at Towson.

The left-handed defenseman was a key part of a Trojans defense that allowed just 4.7 goals per game. He was a unanimous All-America pick by the county coaches. Helped Garden City win its fifth straight Nassau Class B title and its first Long Island championship since 2000. Committed to Harvard.

Compact and quick with hard outside shot. Selected as a 2010 All-American and a three-time All-Suffolk choice. Fourth-leading scorer on Long Island with 105 points, including 61 goals. Also an All-American in 2009 when he scored 103 points. A 2009 All-Long Island football player. Will play lacrosse only at Penn.

Second-leading scorer in Suffolk with 112 points, including 58 goals and 54 assists. Added strength in the offseason and perfected an accurate turn-around low shot. Scored six points in season-ending playoff loss to eventual state champion West Islip. Three-time All-Suffolk player. Selected as a 2010 All-American. Will attend St. John’s.

Named a 2010 All-American after scoring 41 goals with 22 assists. Also had 168 ground balls and won 65 percent of his faceoffs. "Dan is a true throw back midfielder as he faces off, runs our midfield offensively, plays defense, rides, clears and is on man-up," said coach Christian Doller.

Three-time All-Suffolk choice and All-Long Island football player as a defensive back. Committed to Johns Hopkins University.

"He was the backbone of our team. Without him, we wouldn’t have made the playoffs," Mustangs coach Joe Cuozzo said. Saved 68 percent of the shots on goal with 236 saves and a 6.3 goals-against average. Also scored a rare goalie goal and had three assists. Committed to Lehigh.

Posted a 61-percent save percentage to help the Chiefs to a Nassau Class A final appearance, where they lost, 9-8, to Farmingdale. Schneider was selected to play in the Under Armour All-American game. Team captain and two-time all-Nassau pick. Also an academic All-American. Will play at Johns Hopkins University.

Scored 46 goals plus 51 assists and was a clutch performer. Tallied four goals plus the game-winning assist in St. Anthony’s 9-8 victory over Chaminade in the Class AAA CHSAA championship game. Selected as a 2010 All-American. Also a 2009 Newsday All-Long Island quarterback. Will play lacrosse only at Princeton.
