Joe Cuozzo, who won seven state titles at Ward Melville and one more at his current job, Mount Sinai, announced that this season will be his last on the sidelines. “Forty years is enough. It’s time to turn it over to some younger people,” Cuozzo told Newsday. He said his 2010 Mount Sinai team is “young and inexperienced.” But the coach isn’t, so even though the Mustangs currently are 0-3, I expect them to give Cuozzo one more Class C playoff run later this spring.
