Live here at Middletown high school as Port Jefferson (18-0) goes for its second consecutive state Class C championship. Port Jefferson will need to beat Williamson (19-0-2) in the semifinals to get to the finals.

Port Jefferson goalkeeper Gabe Davis came up huge early on. Just 1:30 into the game, Davis stopped Brendon Barres on a breakaway.

Midway through the first half, it is scoreless.

HALFTIME

PORT JEFFERSON 0, WILLIAMSON 0

It was a slow start for Port Jefferson, who picked up its play in the late portion of the first half. Davis has made two big saves so far to keep the score tied for Port Jefferson.

Ten minutes into the second half and it is still scoreless. Port Jefferson has had the berrer of play so far.

Great chance for Port Jefferson as Blake Bohlen is taken down. It appeared to be inside the 18 or right on it. but the officials said it was just outside the 18. Bohlen's kick went over the wall of five and hit the crossbar with 29:30 left. Still scoreless.

Five minutes later Vincent Antonelli had a good look at the goal and shot high and wide. Port Jefferson is coming close.

Wow! Bohlen was in alone on Mitchell Steurrys and he made a terrific save to keep it scoreless with 14:44 left. Port Jefferson is putting the pressure on.

Bohlen scored his 32nd goal of the season off a through ball from Jasper Rubin-Sigler with 3:37 left in the game.

Port Jefferson wins, 1-0.
