All events scheduled for Wednesday in Suffolk have been wiped out, including the Section XI cross country meet at Sunken Meadow State Park.
"We made the decision because of the pending storm and also because of the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy that is still affecting many of our schools," Section XI executive director Ed Cinelli said. "We're hoping to reschedule everything for [tomorrow]."
