Danny Urbanski's trey at buzzer wins it for Sachem North

Trailing by two with 6.5 seconds left, Danny Urbanski went the length of the floor and hit a three-pointer as time expired to give Sachem North the 60-59 win Tuesday over Commack in League I boys basketball. Urbanski scored 19 of his 29 in a 23-14 fourth for North (3-8).

Longwood 73, Patchogue-Medford 64: Latrell Washington scored seven of his 17 points in the second OT for Longwood (7-4), which clinches a playoff berth.

Smithtown West 97, Smithtown East 54: Senior Ryan Hickey (22 points) scored his 1,000th career point on a free throw in the fourth quarter for Smithtown West (8-2) in League III.

East Islip 60, North Babylon 56: Brandon MacMorris had 17 points, including an up-and-under layup to take a three-point lead with 1:58 left as East Islip (7-4) clinched a playoff berth.

Uniondale 68, Oceanside 65: Aaron Cust (19 points) converted a three-point play early in OT to give Uniondale (5-4) a five-point lead in Conference AA-I. Jerel McGary hit a layup to tie it with 1:37 left in regulation.

Bellmore JFK 69, Long Beach 60: Eric Pauly (13 points) tied the score at 56 with a layup with 16 seconds left in the fourth and senior Ralph Faiella (14 rebounds) scored five of his career high 24 points for JFK (5-5) in Conference AA-III.West Hempstead 64, Island Trees 51: Senior Tyree Glascoe scored a career-high 42 points on 16 of 25 shooting to lead West Hempstead (7-2) in Conference A-IV.
