Spring Valley Mayor Noramie Jasmin and Deputy Mayor Joseph A. Desmaret were arrested Tuesday morning by FBI agents and charged with mail fraud for their alleged role in approving the sale of land that was to be used for a community center. They each face up to 20 years in prison if convicted. (April 2, 2013)
