Gahan gets five points as Friends gains final

Thanks to Bridie Gahan's five, Friends Academy will have a shot at five.

Behind a career-high five points from the freshman, the top-seeded Quakers defeated Wheatley, 7-0, Tuesday in the Class C field hockey semifinals. In a rematch of last season's title game, the four-time defending champions will face No. 2 Carle Place at 4 p.m. Sunday at Adelphi.
