GC's Chapman Goes for 300...

Garden City coach Diane Chapman -- Newsday's Nassau Coach of The Year last season -- could earn her 300th win this Saturday, on the road at East Islip...(game time: 3pm)

The Trojans were supposed to face the Redmen on Oct. 3rd, but the game was cancelled due to weather. Had GC played -- and won -- the Trojans had a shot of winning Chapman's 300th game at home this week...

But alas, it wasn't to be...

The Trojans, now 7-0, had to reschedule this week's game against North Shore to Oct. 17 @ 1:30p -- setting the stage for a potential 300th win for Chapman.

She still has a long way to go to catch former Ward Melville coach Nancy Cole, who has over 555 wins, according to the NYSPHAA...(and from what I've been told, that number is way off.)...
