Stickin' It To Breast Cancer....

West Babylon coach Andrea Montalvo just informed me that several Suffolk teams are taking a cue from their Nassau counterparts in regards to promoting breast cancer awareness.

Along with the Eagles, Bay Shore, Harborfields and Southampton have also chosen to dedicate a game this month in support of the cause.

All four teams have already ordered T-shirts, and the proceeds will go to charity...In just three days, according to Montalvo, West Bab has almost sold out all 100 shirts.

West Bab -- which will be playing in pink and with a pink ball when it hosts host East Islip on Oct. 20th @ 4pm -- will also be walking together as a team during the Breast Cancer Walk at Jones Beach on the 18th.

Bay Shore coach Mary Drago was nice enough to call and supply some dates and times for upcoming Suffolk "pink" games:

10/8: Bay Shore @ West Islip, 4p
10/17: North Babylon @ Pat-Med, 2p
10/20 - East Islip @ West Babylon, 4p
10/22 - West Bablyon @ Bay Shore, 4p
10/23 - Smithtown East @ Sachem East, 4p
