Aaron Dawson scored on a 1-yard touchdown plunge with 10 seconds left and Peter Falgiano hit Alex Brillantino in the end zone for a two-point conversion as Clarke rallied to beat Locust Valley, 22-21, Saturday in Nassau IV football.
The Rams (2-1) came back from a 14-point deficit and Dawson's TD capped a 16-play, 79-yard drive that lasted 5:09.

With Clarke down 14-0 in the third quarter, Falgiano found Austin Ceris for a 12-yard TD. Yamique Webb's 2-yard touchdown run gave the Falcons a 21-7 lead in the third, but Falgiano hit Ceris again for a 6-yard TD with nine minutes left, pulling the Rams within 21-14.
Falgiano completed 10 of 21 passes for 88 yards and ran for 60 yards. Joe Truono made six tackles.
Valley Stream North 15, North Shore 7: Joe Ruscillo completed 8 of 12 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns to lead Valley Stream North (1-2). His 14-yard touchdown pass to Mike DiRico gave the Spartans a 13-0 lead in the second quarter.
Pat McGreevy had three interceptions, including one in the end zone with two minutes left in the first half, after North Shore had driven to the 5. He later thwarted another North Shore drive in the third quarter, jumping in front of a ball and dragging his toes to stay in bounds. Pat Brady's third sack of the game came as time expired in the fourth to seal the win. DiRico ran for 82 yards and had two catches for 46 yards. Brian Carroll ran for 56 yards and had a 15-yard TD reception.
Island Trees 44, East Rockaway 7: Andrew Zabala returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown to put Island Trees ahead 21-0 with 11:48 left in the second quarter. Tom Gilmartin returned an interception 35 yards with 11 seconds left in the game to cap the Conference IV win. John Pascalli ran for 125 yards on 17 carries and two touchdowns. Brian Eletti threw for 105 yards and ran for 70 yards. Zabala and Eddie Sanchez both made 11 tackles for Island Trees (2-1).
West Hempstead 42, Cold Spring Harbor 13: Bruce Gibbs returned the opening kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown and added a 15-yard TD run on the next possession as West Hempstead (3-0) took a 28-0 first-quarter lead on Cold Spring Harbor (0-3) in Nassau IV. Enrique McFarlane, who had 104 rushing yards on three carries, had touchdown runs of 6 and 58 yards to cap the scoring in the first. Anthony Beaubrun connected with Gibbs for a 25 yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.
Mineola 27, Carle Place-Wheatley 0: Vinny Bieniek's 20-yard scoring pass to Justin Oommen with eight minutes left capped the scoring for Mineola (1-2). Bieniek ran for 55 yards and a TD on eight carries, Kyle Dunleavey had six carries for 50 yards and a score, Eric Guardado made six tackles and had a sack and Ryan Eccher had a 5-yard TD run, six tackles and a sack. Carle Place is 1-2.
