All Nassau and Suffolk high school sports events scheduled for this weekend were officially postponed in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, according to the executive directors of athletics in both counties, who took part in a conference call on Thursday afternoon.
Included in those postponements were 32 first round football playoff games (16 in each county) that were to be played on Friday...
