A horse is a horse, of course, of course. But Freeport's Kevin Allen was a workhorse of a different sort last night.
Allen, a 5-11, 215-pound senior, played quarterback for the first time in his career because starter Paul Ketchens broke his hand last week. And he was spectacular.
