Forget the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. The surest sign that the holiday season has arrived in Nassau County is Seaford winning the Conference IV football championship.
Top-seeded Seaford captured its third straight title and fifth since 2002 with a 33-0 victory over No. 3 Locust Valley last night at Hofstra. Although the result was typical, the route taken was unique.
