Brendan Bateman hit Matthew McKinnon for a 50-yard touchdown pass with 9:16 left in the third and connected with Dan Percival on a 39-yard score with 8:02 left in the quarter to lift Bayport-Blue Point to a 17-6 win over Hampton Bays Saturday in Suffolk IV.

McKinnon added a 27-yard field goal near the end of the third to give the Phantoms (2-1) a 17-0 lead heading into the fourth. McKinnon had four catches for 85 yards, 10 solo tackles and a forced fumble and Percival had nine solo tackles and an interception. Hampton Bays is 1-2.

Wyandanch 28, Mercy 20: Stanley Joiner caught a screen pass from Raphael Serrano and ran 40 yards for a TD to give Wyandanch (1-2) a 28-20 lead early in the third quarter. Justice Broughton had four receptions for 100 yards, including a 4-yard TD reception and a 50-yard kickoff return for a score. Christian Flowers rushed for 80 yards on eight carries. Taquan Brooks had a team-leading 12 tackles, and Obe Issacs and Tyler Gregory each finished with eight tackles. Gregory also had two fumble recoveries.

Mount Sinai 34, Center Moriches 13: Anthony Abbondanza's 89-yard interception return for a TD with nine minutes left to play in the third quarter gave Mount Sinai (3-0) the lead for good at 14-7. Michael Cortese rushed for 163 yards on 17 carries and two TDs. Zach Wolfe had 203 yards rushing on 11 carries and two scores. The Mustangs finished with 393 total rushing yards. Michael Clark had two sacks. Shane Leonard broke up five passes and had nine tackles.

Glenn 42, East Hampton-Bridgehampton 6: Keeshawn Boodie ran for 75 yards and a TD on eight carries to lead Glenn (2-1) over East Hampton-Bridgehampton (0-3). Boodie also had two interceptions, two tackles and one pass deflection. Boodie broke a tackle and then burst for a 33-yard TD run to give Glenn a 14-6 lead early in the first. Wayne White, who ran a curl pattern, caught a 10-yard TD pass from Tom Balacki with about six minutes left in the first half to give Glenn a 28-6 lead. Chris Forsberg's 95-yard kickoff return to open the third quarter was the longest in the school's history, according to Glenn coach Dave Shanahan. Forsberg also blocked an extra point in the first quarter and had five tackles. Edwin Rubio had seven tackles to lead Glenn.

Shoreham-Wading River 37, Stony Brook 7: Tyler Anderson ran for 109 yards and two TDs on six rushes, and caught a 59-yard TD to lead Shoreham-Wading River (2-1) on Friday night. Daniel Hughes completed 6 of 6 passes for 125 yards and two scores. Anderson's 10-yard TD run gave the Wildcats a 21-7 lead in the first quarter. Chris Rosati added 83 rushing yards and had two receptions for 25 yards. Ethan Wiederkehr, Nick Franze and Levi Middleton each had a sack for the Wildcats.

Greenport-Southold-Mattituck 42, Southampton 20: Matt Drinkwater hit Gene Allen for two TD receptions within the final four minutes of the first half to break the game open for Greenport-Southold-Mattituck (3-0) on Friday night. Allen, who caught eight balls for 120 yards and four TDs, hauled in a 13-yard pass form Drinkwater with four minutes left in the second to make it 28-20, and then caught an 11-yard pass as time expired to make it 35-20 at the break.

Drinkwater completed 13 of 24 passes for 192 yards with four TDs and an interception. Frank Sierra rushed for 140 yards and two scores on 25 carries. Southampton is 1-2.
