It was the Brett Bracco show Sunday at Mitchel Athletic Complex. The Monsignor Farrell running back scored three touchdowns in a 35-12 win over Kellenberg in the CHSAA.

After Kellenberg had a punt blocked in the first quarter, Farrell took over on the Kellenberg 18. With 7:30 left in the opening quarter, Bracco scored his first touchdown, a 4-yard run that put Farrell up 7-0.

"He's a very tough runner," Kellenberg coach Kevin Hanifan said of Bracco.

But Bracco wasn't the only reason Farrell walked off a winner. Three Kellenberg punts were blocked, setting up short fields for the Farrell offense.

Kellenberg's Matt Perno's touchdown with six minutes left in the second quarter cut the Farrell lead to 14-6.

Four minutes later, Farrell's Chris Carabello caught a 44-yard touchdown pass from Vincent Aranda. "It was a big momentum swing for Farrell," Hanifan said.

Bracco added touchdown runs of 15 and 65 yards.
