Cole Zeller had 235 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries, including a 40-yard touchdown run, to give Eastport-South Manor (6-1) a one-point lead en route to a 40-26 win over Kings Park in Suffolk III football Friday. Jake Hobbie followed with a 38-yard touchdown run for a 34-26 lead as ESM scored 19 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to finish the game. Quarterback Austin Macchi rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries. Pat Minogue, who forced and recovered a key fumble late in the first half, led the defense with 11 tackles and three sacks. This is the first time in program history that ESM has won six games, coach Paul Mastronardi said.
Islip 13, Deer Park 7: Kieran Mullins went untouched off tackle to the right side for a 17-yard touchdown on the second play of overtime to lead Islip (6-1) in Suffolk III on Friday. Mullins had 141 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries, and completed 11 of 14 passes for 98 yards. Linebacker Craig Hinrichs led Islip with nine tackles, including two for a loss.
Hauppauge 14, Amityville 6: Nick Mildon's 1-yard touchdown run with 7:02 left put Hauppauge (6-1) up 13-6 in Suffolk III on Saturday. Mildon hit Mike Basil with a 48-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter for the game's first score. Ryan Henry and Austin Munro led the defense with eight tackles apiece.

Center Moriches 45, Southampton 14: Tyrell Thomas threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns on 9-for-14 passing to lead Center Moriches (6-1) in Suffolk IV on Friday. Thomas hit Tarik Rountree for a 49-yard TD on the first play from scrimmage and later connected with John-Cody Cerverizzo for a 61-yard TD on a wheel route to make it 14-0 after the first quarter.
Babylon 41, Mercy 6: Jake Carlock had two receptions for 56 yards and two touchdowns to lead Babylon (7-0) in Suffolk IV on Friday. Nick Santorelli completed 3 of 4 passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns. Babylon ran for 208 yards. Babylon broke the game open in the second quarter after Santorelli hit Carlock for his second touchdown of the game.
Mount Sinai 35, Hampton Bays 26: Zach Wolfe had 18 carries for 158 yards and two touchdowns and returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown to lead Mount Sinai (5-2) in Suffolk IV on Friday. Wolfe's kickoff return with two minutes left in the third quarter gave Mount Sinai a 29-26 lead it never relinquished. Mike Cortese carried 13 times for 140 yards and two touchdowns.
Port Jefferson 41, Stony Brook 6: Tyler D'Accordo carried 18 times for 136 yards and three touchdowns to lead Port Jefferson (3-4) in Suffolk IV on Friday. Paul Cavanagh added 137 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Port Jefferson ran for 367 yards. Ryan Woodward led the defense with 16 tackles and added a sack.
Plainedge 27, Sewanhaka 7: Nick Frenger completed 6 of 9 passes for 83 yards and ran for 122 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries to lead Plainedge (6-1) in Nassau III on Saturday. Gianfranco Soriente ran for 103 yards and a score on 14 carries and led Plainedge with nine tackles at linebacker. Davien Kuinlan rushed for 161 yards on 12 carries.
Carle Place 33, Cold Spring Harbor 14: Andrew Hastings led Carle Place (3-4) in Nassau IV on Friday by going 9-for-12 passing for 138 yards and two TDs, and running for 100 yards and a TD on 10 carries. On the opening drive, Hastings had a 50-yard TD run on an option play, running behind fullback Lucas Golon and breaking a tackle on his way to the end zone. Hastings then hit Luke Serio for two passing TDs, from 5 yards in the first quarter and 20 yards in the second quarter, making it 20-7 at halftime. Lucas Golon had 15 carries for 103 yards and a TD.
Port Washington 41, St. Dominic 6: Mike Gennusa rushed for 197 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries to lead Port Washington (7-0) in Nassau V on Friday. Quarterback James Burns threw for 59 yards and rushed for 53 yards and two touchdowns. Scott Belarge had two receptions for 59 yards and two touchdowns. Defensive end Anton Livshin led the defense with six tackles.
