As quarterback Steven Ferreira of Sayville approaches two Long Island career records, we will chart his progress each week.

Ferreira completed 20-of-24 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown in Sayville’s victory over Miller Place. For his career, the senior has 4,172 passing yards and 45 touchdown passes, placing in the top five in both categories on Long Island’s all-time list.
