In last Thursday’s 40-13 victory over Harborfields, Sayville quarterback Steven Ferreira completed 14 of 19 passes for 258 yards with two touchdowns. Ferreira threw scoring strikes to Tom Dieckhoff (11 yards), and Tom Hannan (12 yards).

In last Friday night’s 32-18 victory over Westhampton, Sayville quarterback Steven Ferreira had his best game of the 2011 season, completing 14 of 23 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns.
He connected with Tom Hannan on a slant for a 66-yard touchdown four minutes into the game. Later he threw a pair of touchdown passes to Matthew Starr and one to Tom Dieckhoff.

In last Friday night’s 35-14 victory over Islip, Sayville quarterback Steven Ferreira did not have a big game, but he made the biggest play. Ferreira scrambled out of the pocket, recovered his own fumble, kept his cool and launched a 68-yard touchdown pass to Tom Hannan that broke a 14-all tie late in the third quarter.

Ferreira completed 20-of-24 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown in Sayville’s victory over Miller Place. For his career, the senior has 4,172 passing yards and 45 touchdown passes, placing in the top five in both categories on Long Island’s all-time list.
