The last two undefeated teams in Nassau County — Carey and Seaford — put their perfect records on the line tomorrow against the teams that played them the closest during the regular season. Here's what to look for in the Conference II game. I'll have the Conference IV preview up either late tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Conference II:

Not going to lie, we here at the High School Football blog have a bit of a crush on Ke$ha. Actually, that's not completely true. I don't think Mr. Herzog knows who she is.

Boy, that Oceanside-Freeport game on Saturday sure did have a lot of playmakers.

First, we saw Oceanside go up 27-7 in the third quarter behind Tyler Heuer's three touchdown passes. But then Freeport answered back with two of Dan Olivier's four touchdown runs and another from Isaiah Barnes to make it 28-27. Then Heuer responded with a rushing touchdown. Finally, Olivier ended it...

One would think the final week of the season would be about teams on the brink of a playoff berth needing a Week 8 win to get into the tournament. But in our power points reality, that's simply not the case. 

All eight playoff teams are set in Conferences III and IV — it's just a matter of what seeds those teams get.

In Conference I, the winner of the Baldwin (3-4)-Hicksville...

"Touchdown" Tyler Heuer and his Oceanside mates meet their stiffest test of the season to date on Saturday when they take the field at Freeport.

It's not that the Red Devils can't be scored upon — they've allowed 131 points in seven games. It's that they're the first team the Sailors have faced this year who can keep up with them on the scoreboard.
