Another week, another four touchdowns for Tyler Heuer.
The Oceanside senior QB is up to 22 passing TDs on the season (he also has seven rushing), and it's only a matter of time before the passing records start to fall.

With Oceanside, Carey and Lynbrook all winning statement games last week to solidify the top spot in Conferences I, II, and III, respectively, we turn our attention to the battles for second through fourth place.
Why are those spots coveted? Because they get to host first-round playoff games the first week in November.

But as the weeks progress, Oceanside quarterback Tyler Heuer only burnishes his reputation as the best football player in Nassau County. This week his victim was Farmingdale, and Heuer had to work his magic in come-from-behind fashion.

Last night's Lynbrook-Hewlett game was a key Conference III football matchup between undefeated teams (it was won, 45-30, by the Owls). But the teams kept the game in perspective this week, devoting time and effort to a worthy mission for the troops in Afghanistan.
