We're back here at Hofstra for the Conference IV final between No. 1 Seaford (10-0) and No. 2 Roosevelt (9-1).

UPDATE (1:00 left in the game): Roosevelt closes it to a 28-25 game, as Colter hit Khalil Wilson for a 12-yard touchdown to the back left corner of the end zone on third-and-goal. They (not smartly) went for two, but the pass failed incomplete.

No. 1 Seaford (10-0) vs. No. 2 Roosevelt (9-1), 4 p.m. at Hofstra — First and foremost, this is a battle of running backs, as the Vikings' Justin Buckley (pictured, left) and the Rough Riders' Donte Colter are two of the best backs in the county.

Boy, that Oceanside-Freeport game on Saturday sure did have a lot of playmakers.

First, we saw Oceanside go up 27-7 in the third quarter behind Tyler Heuer's three touchdown passes. But then Freeport answered back with two of Dan Olivier's four touchdown runs and another from Isaiah Barnes to make it 28-27. Then Heuer responded with a rushing touchdown.
