Lynbrook came back from a 7-0 first-quarter deficit, ran the ball at - and over - Islip, and beat the Buccaneers before a crowd of 2,428 at Hofstra Stadium. Anthony Picone led the charge for Lynbrook, rushing for 145 yards and scoring a touchdown on 33 carries.
