James Burns does it all to lead Port Washington past Great Neck South, 48-24

James Burns passed for 173 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 97 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns to lead Port Washington to a 48-24 win over Great Neck South Saturday in Nassau V football. Michael Gennusa rushed for 151 yards on 15 carries and two touchdowns and Kyle Granger had five receptions for 160 yards and two touchdowns. Vincent Miscioscia had eight tackles to lead Port Washington (4-1). Great Neck South is 1-4. Long Island Lutheran 50, Roslyn 34: Tiquan Garner rushed for 238 yards on 18 carries with four touchdowns and threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Joe Barrios for Long Island Lutheran (5-0). John Schmitt rushed for 68 yards on 17 carries and scored two touchdowns. Matt Borer had 13 tackles to lead the defense. Thomas Davis scored on runs of 73, 25, and 15 yards for Roslyn (1-4).

Jericho 35, Great Neck North 7: Josh Harris rushed for 237 rushing yards on 13 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead Jericho (4-1). Chandler Kirby had 101 rushing yards and also threw a touchdown pass. He also added six tackles. Jericho had 353 rushing yards. Noah White had five tackles in the win. Great Neck North is 2-3.
