Jordan Fredericks made eight catches for 146 yards and four touchdowns to lead Lawrence to a 40-27 win over Sewanhaka Saturday in Nassau III football.

Fredericks snagged a 55-yard touchdown pass from Joe Capobianco midway through the second quarter to break a 20-20 tie and put Lawrence (3-0) up for good. Fredericks' 20-yard TD pass with a minute left in the half gave the Golden Tornado a 27-14 lead.

Capobianco completed 11 of 17 passes for 275 yards and four TDs. Simon Jones ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns, including a 15-yard score in the third that pushed the lead to 34-21. Elijah Jones had seven tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery. Sewanhaka's Jake Mellen hit Elijah Smith for two TD passes, including a 60-yarder in the second that, with the two-point conversion, tied it at 20.

Manhasset 20, New Hyde Park 14: James Farrell ran for 177 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries, and had a touchdown reception to lead Manhasset (1-2) in Nassau III.

Farrell's 35-yard TD run, a toss off left tackle, gave the Indians a 20-0 lead in the third quarter. Farrell also caught a screen pass from Tommy Durand, slipped two tackles, and broke free up the sideline for a 57-yard score in the second quarter. Middle linebacker Bryan Herbert had nine tackles, two sacks and a third-quarter interception. Free safety Jawaun Gillespie had two interceptions and Will Castellan had two sacks.

Plainedge 35, Hewlett 7: Davien Kuinlan ran for 197 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and Nick Frenger completed 16 of 17 passes for 175 yards and two TDs for Plainedge (3-0). Kuinlan burst up the middle, broke a tackle and ran 24 yards for a TD on Plainedge's opening drive of the third, giving the Red Devils a 21-7 lead. Rob Oliver and Jake Schozer each made nine tackles.

Floral Park 34, Division 14: Connor Vidasolo threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns to lead Floral Park (2-1). Josh Sanders ran for 68 yards and a TD. Vidasolo's 24-yard TD pass to Brian Moriarty gave the Knights a 14-0 lead with 1:57 left in the first quarter.

Brian Barry's 100-yard interception return for a TD created the final margin. Conor Horan made 12 tackles and Robert Sjoberg had seven stops.

Glen Cove 54, Valley Stream South 20: Mike Burrell had two receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns and also returned a kickoff 85 yards for a score late in the second quarter to lead Glen Cove (2-1). David Perkins completed 5 of 5 passes for 173 yards and four touchdowns. Billy Neice had five carries for 109 yards and a 19-yard touchdown catch.

Lynbrook 20, Bethpage 15: Owen Daly and Matt Haragdoan combined on a tackle on fourth-and-9 with 30 seconds left to seal the victory. Lynbrook (2-1) took a 14-8 lead after Dylan Lucas' 1-yard touchdown run in the third. Harrison Conn added a 6-yard TD to make it 20-8. Joe Grossi rushed for 78 yards on 21 attempts and Lucas ran for 92 yards on 18 carries and two scores. Bethpage is 2-1.
