Peter Mangione raced 55 yards for a touchdown on Lindenhurst's first play from scrimmage and totaled 88 yards on seven carries in the Bulldogs' 17-7 victory over Brentwood yesterday in Suffolk I. Kevin Harvey ran for 126 yards on 24 carries and Anthony Lanzieri ran for 56 yards and scored on a 3-yard run in the second quarter that gave Lindenhurst (1-3) a 14-0 lead. Frank Cicchetti had 11 tackles, Gino Bonagura seven and Matt Giannelli six for Lindy. Brentwood falls to 1-3.
Patchogue-Medford 49, Ward Melville 21: Anthony Lee completed 11 of 14 passes for 160 yards and three TDs for Pat-Med (3-1). Connor Coughlin was on the receiving end for all three TDs and finished with five catches for 115 yards. Dom Cassella returned the opening kickoff for 95 yards to get Pat-Med on the board. Ward Melville is 2-2.
Commack 35, Longwood 14: Senior Matthew Recek had five catches and set career highs with 174 yards receiving and three TDs to lead Commack (4-0). Willy Monroy ran for 59 yards, threw for a TD, caught a scoring pass and returned an interception 21 yards for a score in the win. Rob Paccione threw for 249 yards and two TDs, Christian Costello had two sacks, Josh Valentin made 14 tackles and John Engberg had five stops. Longwood is 1-3.

Sachem East 20, Half Hollow Hills East 13:Phil Brum carried 30 times for 270 yards and two touchdowns to lead Sachem East (1-3) Friday night. Danny Wolff completed 10 of 14 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown and Dylan Foisey caught three passes for 50 yards and a score. Zachary Geer had nine tackles and a sack and Connor Farrell had nine stops and an interception. Hills East is 0-4. Sachem North 34, Northport 20: Malik Pierre ran for 200 yards and three TDs on 17 carries and scored with 1:23 left to provide the final margin for Sachem North (4-0) on Friday night. Anthony Ross rushed for 106 yards on 13 carries and one touchdown in the win. Northport drops to 2-2.
