Connor Vidasolo had 12 carries for 62 yards and completed 3 of 4 passes for 89 yards in the win. Plainedge 55, Lynbrook 33: Davien Kuinlan rushed for 225 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries to lead Plainedge (2-0). Joe Bouse blocked a punt that was returned by Gianfranco Soriente 32 yards for a score. Soriente added 93 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Lynbrook is 1-1.
Bethpage 42, Division 0: Yoannis Efstathiou ran for 136 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries for Bethpage (2-0). Christian Ferruzza completed 6 of 7 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 45 yards. Mark Pikounis and Michael Sforza each had a touchdown reception, while Jason Bier and Jake Einbinder each had an interception in the win. Division is 1-1.
Hewlett 47, Valley Stream South 12: Tredd Smith recovered a blocked punt in the end zone and picked up a fumble in the end zone to lead Hewlett (1-1). His fumble recovery gave the Bulldogs a 20-0 lead early in the second quarter. Jeremy Lewguillow ran for 133 yards, Jeffrey Rizzo rushed for 129 yards and Messiah Clark had 10 tackles and two sacks in the win. South is 0-2.
