Bria Hartley
Long Island Player of the Year
North Babylon, 5-10, Sr.

Hartley led the Bulldogs to the Suffolk Class AA final and scored a L.I. playoff record 51 points in a 72-69 loss to Sachem East. The UConn-bound Hartley scored 43 points in the semifinals. Hartley finished her career with 1,978 points and averaged 28.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 5.7 steals in her final season.

Emma O'Connor
Nassau Player of the Year

Kellenberg, 6-foot, Sr.

O'Connor can fill up the stat sheet across the board. She averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and four blocked shots. O'Connor led Kellenberg to the NSCHSAA championship for the second consecutive season and she scored 21 in a loss to St. John the Baptist. She finished her career with 1,011 points and did it in three seasons to become Kellenberg's all-time leading scorer. She will play at Marist.

GUARD
Jessica Bandrowski
Center Moriches, 5-5, Sr.

Bandrowski helped lead Center Moriches to the Long Island Class B championship. She averaged 16 points, 5.7 steals and 4.4 assists and finished her career with 1,245 points. Bandrowski scored 15 points in the Suffolk Class B championship game against Mattituck.

FORWARD
Shneeka Center
Smithtown West, 5-11, Sr.

Center averaged 32.3 points and 17 rebounds. She had 30 points, 33 rebounds and five assists in a Suffolk Class AA quarterfinal win over Northport and 22 points and 20 rebounds in a loss to North Babylon in the semifinals. She had 10 games of scoring at least 30 points, including a career-high 49. She is 10th on Long Island's all-time scoring list with 2,206 points. She will play at Davidson.

CENTER
Jessica DeNicola
Long Island Lutheran, 6-3, Sr.

DeNicola was a force inside for the Crusaders and the bigger the game, the better she played. DeNicola averaged 16 points and 13 rebounds as Lutheran reached the Federation Class B semifinals. She will play at Molloy.

GUARD
Kristen Doherty
Sachem East, 5-11, Sr.

Doherty averaged 23.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 6.2 steals, 5.1 assists and hit 50 three-pointers in leading the Flaming Arrows to the state Class AA championship. She had 22 points and eight rebounds in the state final against Shenendehowa and 31 points, 12 steals and eight rebounds in the semifinals against Mount Vernon. She scored 29 points in a Federation final loss to Christ the King. The Boston College-bound Doherty was one of 20 players selected to the Nike WBCA All-Star game and finished her career with 2,277 points to place her seventh on Long Island’s all-time list. She was named to Parade’s All-America fourth team.

CENTER
Sara English
Smithtown West, 6-5, Sr.

English averaged 19 points, 15 rebounds and six blocked shots to help lead Smithtown West to the Suffolk Class AA semifinals. She had 30 points and 15 rebounds in a quarterfinal win over Northport. She will play at UMass.

GUARD
Shannon Flynn
St. Mary's, 5-6, Sr.

Opponents knew they had to stop Flynn and they couldn't. She led St. Mary's to the NSCHSAA semifinals where she scored 31 points in a loss to Kellenberg. She averaged 23 points, 5.5 steals, 5.5 assists and made 64 three-pointers.

GUARD
Alexis Smith
St. John the Baptist, 5-10, Jr.

Smith helped lead the Cougars to the NSCHSAA championship. She averaged 12 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 3.9 steals and overcame an early-season ankle injury that cost her seven games. She is an excellent defender, a good slasher and can hit the outside shot.

GUARD
Kim Weathers
Wyandanch, 5-6, Sr.

Weathers was a big reason the Warriors reached the Suffolk Class B semifinals, averaging 19.4 points. She had 31 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a win over Center Moriches to help Wyandanch get the No. 2 seed in the postseason. She scored 25 in a loss to Center Moriches, the eventual county champion, in the semifinals. Weathers had three 30-point games.
