The race for the Suffolk Class B crown will be one of the most interesting to watch. Center Moriches, Mattituck and Wyandanch all have excellent shots to win the League VII title and the county championship. Right now, Center Moriches is in the best shape after a 63-55 overtime win at home against Wyandanch Wednesday night.

Amber Davis had 33 points and 11 rebounds and hit a layup less than a minute into a 10-2 overtime for the win. Wyandanch led 33-21 at the half before Center Moriches had a 32-20 second half to tie the score. Kelsey Glanzman (eight points and 19 rebounds) tied the score at 52 less with less than a minute left in regulation.

Center Moriches is first in League VII with a 5-0 record. It has also beat Mattituck, 41-37. Now it has to play Wyandanch and Mattituck on the road. Mattituck is 4-1 and defeated Wyandanch at home in overtime, 57-55.

Wyandanch is 2-2, with losses to the top teams. Both were in ovetime on the road. It's going to be a very interesting finish and all these teams are pretty even.
