Harborfields' strategy against North Shore Friday night was simple.
Put the ball in the hands of guard Bridgit Ryan and let her try and break North Shore's swarming full-court press to create scoring chances.

But when Ryan fouled out with 13.6 seconds left in the fourth quarter with Harborfields down two, forward Kristen Kelly and guard Allie Tunick had no problem taking on the load.
Kelly stole the ball underneath North Shore's basket with eight seconds left and put in the tying layup to force overtime.
Tunick scored nine of her 11 points in the extra frame to give Harborfields a 73-65 come-from-behind girls basketball victory at the St. Anthony's Winter Classic.
"I just wanted to help my team win the game," Kelly said. "I came up with the steal and it was good, and I've always had my jump shot anddeveloped it over the offseason and it was great to be able to use it and show the team how much I can help them."
Overtime began with the score tied at 57, but when Tunick hit a huge three-pointer and a layup it gave Harborfields a 64-59 lead with 2:24 remaining. Her fast-break layup with a minute left gave the team a 70-62 margin and her two free throws with 21 seconds remaining were the Lady Tornadoes' final points.
"It was an exciting moment," Tunick said of her go-ahead three. "We had to stay positive and encourage each other the whole time and just pull it through."
North Shore (3-1) set the tone early, turning the game into a chaotic, back-and-forth affair with a number of turnovers and fast-break chances. The Vikings led 50-41 after three quarters, but Harborfields (3-0) chipped away.
Harborfields coach Russ Tietjen said even though Ryan fouled out, she was key in keeping the Lady Tornadoes in the game. "We would not have been where we were without [Ryan]; she was under a lot of pressure all game and was able to bring the ball out for us," Tietjen said. "When she fouled out, stepped up."
Kelly scored 19 points, Amy Werbitsky had 14 points and Ryan finished with 13 points, 14 rebounds and four assists.
