The 3 Stars for Wednesday 2/22:

Junior Val Oyakhilome (above) had a career-high 36 points to go with 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks as No. 2 Lindenhurst defeated No. 10 Northport 71-51 in a Suffolk Class AA quarterfinal.

Allison McKenna had 27 points and 16 rebounds as No. 1 Glenn cruised past No. 4 Shoreham-Wading River, 65-25, in a Suffolk Class A semifinal.

Jayda Hyatt had a career-high 20 points to go with 12 rebounds as No. 4 Uniondale defeated No. 5 Mepham 58-48 in a Nassau Class AA quarterfinal.
