Longwood had expectations of going to the postseason this year and the Lions achieved that goal tonight with a 51-41 win over Sachem North in a League I game. It's the first time they have reached the postseason since 2005-06, when they lost in the county championship to Northport.

There was a lot of hype surrounding the St. Anthony's-Long Island Lutheran game Sunday night at the Kennedy Challenge in the Bronx, and both teams delivered in a big way. At times, both teams appeared on the precipice of victory, but St. Anthony’s pulled out a 65-59 overtime win.
