Taylor Whiffen, Shannon Rosati set tone in SWR's victory

Shoreham-Wading River's Taylor Whiffen and Shannon Rosati proved to be too much too early for Mount Sinai Friday.

Whiffen (11 points) and Rosati (nine) combined for 20 points in the first half to lead the Wildcats to a 54-22 League VI girls basketball victory.

"We came out aggressive and ready to play," said Whiffen, who finished with 13 points. "We wanted to get this win."
