Nicole Levy scored on an assist from Alexa Mattera in the second overtime to lead East Islip over Sachem East, 13-12, in its non-league girls lacrosse opener Monday.

Levy had eight goals and two assists. Mattera scored two goals and assisted on both overtime goals for East Islip.

Sam Shelton scored with 55 seconds left in regulation to cap a 5-0 Sachem East run that sent the game into overtime.

Shoreham-Wading River 9, Smithtown East 7: Sophia Triandafils scored with five minutes left to spark Shoreham-Wading River in its non-league opener. Triandafils and her younger sister Erin both scored twice in the win. Haley Rose also had two goals, and Lauren Daly made 10 saves for SWR.

Bellport 23, Longwood 19: Courtney Pabst had seven goals and four assists, and Hailey Wagner added five goals for Bellport in its non-league opener. Alison Johnson scored 12 goals for Longwood.

Sayville 9, Farmingdale 6: Kaitlyn Wandelt had four goals and Kelly Marra added three to lead Sayville in its non-league opener.

Commack 17, Glenn 9: Diana Johnston had six goals in Commack's non-league opener. Julia Manetta had three goals and three assists.

Comsewogue 5, Patchogue-Medford 3: Haley Lochren had two goals and Hannah Dorney added a goal and an assist to carry Comsewogue in its non-league opener.

North Shore 8, Port Washington 6: Temilee Chester and Hannah Moran scored two goals apiece for North Shore in its non-league opener.

Mepham 11, Jericho 8: Taylor Black and Erin Gilroy each had three goals to lead Mepham in non-league.

Roslyn 11, Floral Park 8: Reilly Liotta and Molli Spencer each had three goals to lift Roslyn in non-league. The Bulldogs forced overtime on Callie Migden's goal with 29 seconds left in regulation.

Seaford 8, Clarke 6: Allison Palermo had two goals and two assists to spark Seaford in non-league.

Massapequa 12, Kellenberg 5: Kole Pollock scored four goals in Massapequa's non-league opener. Kerri Sayrafe had three goals and Maddy Lee had two goals and two assists.

Hicksville 20, Friends Academy 12: Hunter Isnardi's career-high nine goals led Hicksville in its non-league opener. Noelle Batista added two goals and five assists.
