I was in attendance for Wednesday’s game between Farmingdale and Massapequa and wanted to offer some insight and details from the game, which ended as a 1-1 tie.

Things are pretty dire for Massapequa right now. The perennial juggernaut suffered another defeat Thursday, falling to MacArthur 2-0.
Massapequa (5-3-3, 5-3-2) was ranked No. 4 nationally and No. 1 in the region in the preseason NSCAA/adidas rankings but are now battling to be No. 4 in their own conference.

St. Anthony's remains atop this week's Top 10 following a 3-0 week. West Islip, Sayville and Northport are battling for tops in Suffolk with the Lions and Tigers facing off on Tuesday. In Nassau, Farmingdale and Division have cemented themselves atop Class AA and A respectively while MacArthur is doing well and Massapequa is struggling.
