Krystina Iordanou scored twice in the second half for Friends Academy Tuesday in a 2-0 win over S.S. Seward in the Southeast Regional Class C final in Middletown.

Friends coach Gail Baker, although impressed Iordanou's clutch play, lauded her team's defense, particularly Heather Maierle and Alexis Toles. Maierle was instrumental in shutting down Seward's stop scorer Gladys Loyas.

Friends (9-4) will face Hoosick Falls in a state semifinal at noon Saturday at Tompkins CC in Cortland.
