It wasn't easy, but Cold Spring Harbor defeated Ward Melville, 419-423, Wednesday to win the Long Island boys golf championship at Bethpage Black.

"This was definitely the hardest course we played on all season," said the Seahawks' Steve Tanen, who shot 81. "It was a test for us. We struggled a little but we pulled through."
