Syosset sophomore Elizabeth Choi won her second straight Nassau individual golf championship, shooting a 6-over 77 on Bethpage Yellow Monday and a 1-over 72 on Bethpage Green Tuesday to finish with a 36-hole score of 149.

Choi went 8-2 this year with a match average of 42 for nine holes.

Garden City Maroon won its eighth straight Nassau championship with a team score of 898. Friends Academy was second with 944 and Syosset third with 970.

This is the best finish in eight years for Friends Academy, which has won 36 straight Conference I matches and three straight conference titles.

GC Maroon will play in the LI championship May 28 at Bethpage Green.
