Huntington dominated the St. Anthony’s Invitational, winning by 44 points. Kyree Johnson won the 400 meters in 49.10 seconds and the long jump, flying 21 feet, 9 1⁄2 inches. Vernon Alexander won the shot put, tossing it 49 feet, 5 1⁄2.

The Phantoms racked up 31 goals in two wins against West Babylon and Westhampton. Cassidy Weeks had four goals to lead the charge against West Babylon, while Kyla Zapolski had four goals against Westhampton.

3. EASTPORT-SOUTH MANOR SOFTBALL

The defending Long Island champions remained unbeaten in league play as Daniela Detore went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in a 13-1 win over Hauppauge. The Sharks, which have outscored opponents 53-3 in their last eight games, also defeated first-place Commack in a non-league win as Marissa Rizzi tossed a three-hitter and went 2-for-3.

4. BAY SHORE BASEBALL

Righthanded senior Brian Weissert fired a no-hitter with 12 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Whitman as the Marauders won for the 12th game in a row and clinched the Suffolk League II title. Weissert also went 2-for-3 in the win.

5. SMITHTOWN EAST BOYS LACROSSE

The Bulls knocked off previously unbeaten Connetquot, 14-12, as Suffolk I continues to be a brutal game of “Survivor.” “It’s the most parity in the league I’ve seen in my 14 years of coaching,” Smithtown East coach Jason Lambert said. Dan Rooney scored six goals and Connor Desimone had three goals and five assists in the victory over the Thunderbirds.

6. ST. ANTHONY’S BOYS TRACK

The Friars finished second at the St. Anthony’s Invitational. Ryan Kutch won the 3,200 meters in 9:13.52. Freddie Buckholtz won the 1,600 meters in 4:16.39. Liam Ackerman cleared 14 feet to win the pole vault.

7. GARDEN CITY GIRLS LACROSSE

The Trojans earned impressive wins over Wantagh and St. Anthony’s this week to propel them up the rankings. Katie Muldoon had five goals and an assist against Wantagh, a conference foe. Michaela Bruno had four goals against St. Anthony’s.

8. HALF HOLLOW HILLS EAST BOYS TENNIS

Half Hollow Hills East finished the season 14-0 after a 7-0 win over Smithtown West on May 2. Tyler London and Sandy Greenberg defeated Alex Amadeo and Nick Gajda, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, at first doubles in the match.

9. SACHEM EAST GIRLS TRACK

Sachem East won the St. Anthony’s Invitational, scoring 78 points. Kerstyn Ciulla won the pole vault, clearing 10 feet, 6 inches. Their 4 x 800 meter team of Jillian Manfredi, Alexandra DeCicco, Valerie Romero, and Ciara Murphy won in 9:25.02.

10. SYOSSET GIRLS GOLF

The two-time reigning Long Island champions have won 57.5 out of a possible 63 points this season.
