Keith Marro scored the winning goal off a pass from Daniel Friend in the 67th minute as Deer Park topped Half Hollow Hills West, 1-0, in Suffolk League IV boys soccer Thursday.
Ricky Occhino had seven saves for Deer Park, which halted Hills West's regular-season league winning streak at 45 games. Hills West drops to 6-1 in league play.
Brentwood 1, Commack 0: Kevin Diaz scored with six minutes left to win it for Brentwood (7-0, League I), which clinched a playoff spot for the 17th consecutive season. Diaz scored four minutes after Commack goalkeeper Joe Brandofino stopped a penalty kick by Ever Torres. Commack is 4-2-1.
Bay Shore 2, Half Hollow Hills East 1: Braulio Sandoval scored the winner five minutes into overtime to lift Bay Shore (5-1) in League II. Bay Shore's Avery Gomez made eight saves, including one on a penalty kick midway through the second half. Hills East is 3-3.
Bellmore JFK 2, Farmingdale 2: Monique Polanco scored the tying goal with 10 minutes left off a cross from Krista Trinidad to lead Bellmore JFK (3-4-1) in Nassau Conference AA-I. Kerri Baum also scored for Bellmore.
