1. SACHEM EAST FIELD HOCKEY

The Flaming Arrows continue to dominate the competition. The two-time defending Class A state champs crushed rival Ward Melville, 5-0, led by Cara Trombetta, who scored three goals. Junior Katie Shanahan had three goals in a 7-0 win over Commack. The Flaming Arrows have outscored opponents, 20-1.

Record-breaking quarterback Joe Capobianco threw for three touchdowns to set the all-time career mark for passing touchdowns with 74. Lawrence pounded Glen Cove, 53-7, as the defending Long Island Class III champions won their 14th in a row.

3. SACHEM NORTH FOOTBALL

Kevin Bragaglia, Trent Crossan and Malik Pierre contributed long touchdown runs as Sachem North rolled past Connetquot, 56-40, in Suffolk I. The offense is unstoppable.

4. ST. ANTHONY'S BOYS SOCCER

St. Anthony's dominated competition last week, outscoring their two opponents by a 14-0 margin. After scoring two goals against Holy Trinity, Jake Giuffrida had a hat trick against St. Dominic.

5. MILLER PLACE FIELD HOCKEY

The Panthers continued to roll, pushing their win streak to 25 games in the regular season, dating back to 2011. The defending L.I. Class B champs picked up two wins over quality opponents, beating Pierson/Bridgehampton and East Hampton.

6. HALF HOLLOW HILLS EAST GIRLS TENNIS

The two-time Suffolk titlist put its 34-match win streak against Suffolk opponents on the line against Ward Melville.

7. LINDENHURST BOYS VOLLEYBALL

The defending Long Island champions are off to a strong start. Steven Schrank had 53 assists and three aces in a win over Bay Shore. He also had 52 assists in a win over Connetquot.

8. ST. ANTHONY BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

The Friars won the Under the Lights Invitational in Randolph, N.J. Louis Santelli won the 5K race in 15 minutes, 51 seconds. Joseph Tucker finished third in 15:58.35. St. Anthony's topped all LI teams at last season's New York Federation meet.

9. WARD MELVILLE GYMNASTICS

The two-time county champions scored more than 166 points in their first two meets of the season behind Cydney Crasa, who took the all around both times, with a 37.45 and a 37.60.

10. FARMINGDALE BOYS GOLF

The Long Island champions' Matt Lowe shot a 2-under 33 and Kyle Brey shot an even 35 at Bethpage Yellow last week.
