1. SACHEM NORTH BOYS VOLLEYBALL

There is a new No. 1. Adam Bloomfield had 16 kills, Matt Grace had 56 assists, and Paul Curaro had 14 kills to in a 3-1 win over intra-district rival Sachem East. Ralph Lunati had four aces and Sean Hannett added 11 kills to help the reigning Class A state champs win their 25th consecutive match.

2. MASSAPEQUA GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

The Chiefs continue to roll through Nassau opponents. It was another week of easy wins for Massapequa 8-0. Uniondale, Freeport and Farmingdale each fell to the Chiefs, and it doesn't appear as if any team in the regular season will truly test them.

3. ST. ANTHONY'S BOYS SOCCER

The Friars (9-0-1) lost the opportunity for a perfect season when they played to a 1-1 tie with Chaminade. The game was a rematch of last year's CHSAA championship. St. Anthony's has outscored opponents 38-2.

4. FARMINGDALE FOOTBALL

Jordan McLune rushed for 202 yards and a score in the Dalers 28-0 win over previously undefeated Syosset, the defending Long Island Class I champions. Farmingdale is 4-0 with a stout defense.

5. LONGWOOD FOOTBALL

The Lions continue to bulldoze their way through Suffolk Division I with a 34-0 win over previously undefeated Northport. Tahj Clark and Khalil Owens have been the backfield dynamic duo for the Lions.

6. GARDEN CITY FIELD HOCKEY

The Trojans had their best offensive outing yet with a 7-2 win over New Hyde Park. Emily Clarke and Michaela Bruno have eight points each this year.

7. FLOYD GIRLS TENNIS

The defending Suffolk champs remain undefeated at 14-0 after three wins this week, including an impressive 5-2 victory over contender Ward Melville.

8. MASSAPEQUA GIRLS SOCCER

The Chiefs have the lead atop Conference AA-I, the top ability-based conference in Nassau. Hope Breslin had four goals in a 5-5 tie with Port Washington. Julia Ophals scored two goals in a 3-0 win over Hicksville in a rematch of last year's Class AA title game.

10. ST. ANTHONY'S CROSS COUNTRY

Frederick Buckholtz and Ryan Dearie finished first and second, respectively at the St. Anthony's Invitational at Sunken Meadow this weekend. Buckholtz won in 16:45.42 and Dearie was second in 16:48.96.
