Crovello lifts long-suffering Port Jeff in penalty-kick round
Freshman Connor Crovello clinched the Suffolk Class C boys soccer championship for Port Jefferson Saturday when he knocked in a low shot to the left corner to give the Royals a 4-2 lead in penalty kicks over Southold. It was the first county title for the Port Jefferson boys soccer program.
