Heffron lifts Friends Academy to Class C state crown

ONEONTA, N.Y. - Colin Heffron had a bandage around his left quad and his right wrist was wrapped. The Friends Academy junior could barely walk.
As time ticked off the clock and it struck zero, the celebration began to the side of the goal occupied by Friends Academy goalkeeper Chris Maierle. Heffron was trying to get there, but he couldn't move.
