Class AA
1. Bay Shore
2. Longwood
3. Hills West
4. East Islip
5. Commack
6. Smithtown West
7. Hauppauge
8. Eastport-South Manor
9. Smithtown East
10. West Islip
11. Connetquot
12. Sachem East
13. Centereach

The Pick: Bay Shore is unbeaten at 19-0 and has earned the right to be the pre-tournament favorite. They have an ace hurler in Michelle DeVito to go along with arguably the county’s top player, catcher Courtney Syrett. Add Giana Panariello and Briana Coan to the mix, and the Marauders are primed to win a third straight county title.

The Dark Horse: Commack is a team that can go all the way but will have to upset Bay Shore in the semis to do so. Three of their four losses have come by a single run, including a 5-4 nine-inning loss to Bay Shore back on April 17. Paige Swantek can carry a lineup, while pitcher Kristen Andrews has proven her worth against Suffolk’s best.

Class A
1. Sayville
2. Islip
3. East Hampton
4. Shoreham-Wading River
5. Miller Place
6. Mt. Sinai
7. Bayport-Blue Point
8. Rocky Point

The Pick: Islip has two pitching stars in Erika Colangelo and Vanessa Juengerkes and placed second in a competitive League V. Their one-run loss to Sayville earlier in the season came in walk-off fashion, and they will no doubt be looking to exact revenge on the Golden Flashes.

As for Sayville, they had an outstanding regular season at 16-3 but often walked a tightrope while playing down to the level of their opposition. Merissa Selts, Kathleen Maehr and Emily Sellitti are more than capable, though, of leading the Golden Flashes to their first county title since 2009.

The Dark Horse: Shoreham-Wading River is riding a four-game winning streak, which included victories over both East Hampton and Sayville. Future opponents should be concerned.

Class B
1. Babylon
2. Hampton Bays
3. Center Moriches

The Pick: Babylon went undefeated against a schedule of mostly Class A schools; look for the Panthers to make it three county titles in a row.
